It's time of fights and riots. Armies of undead and dark spirits manifest themselves in every corner of Tamriel. Crude winter came and crops have stopped growing. Mystics throughout the Empire are being plagued by nightmares and visions of doom.

Four years ago, in 2E 578 there was an explosion of arcane energy in the imperial city and its aftershocks swept mystical Nirn. Mages died or went mad. Abominations emerged from supernatural plane of Oblivion, Daedra appeared in numbers never seen before. The constellation of the serpent grew so large that it completely covered the night sky... And so began the great plan of Molag Bal, Prince of domination and slavery. His dark altars, vortexes of Deadra magic, weakened the barrier between worlds, threatening to merge Nirm and Oblivion in one hellish nightmare plane.

Thus begins the adventure that will take you and your friends into mythical world of Tamriel, where you have to choose one of three alliances and strive to achieve their goals and be part of their history. Here is brief description for each of these alliances.

The Council of Daggerfall: This alliance consists of two northwestern provinces of Tamriel: High Rock and Hammerfell, home of Bretons and Redguards.

The pact Ebonheart: is the most sensitive of the three alliances, formed by former enemies that joined forces in the north and east of Tamriel.

The Aldmeri Dominion: This alliance consists of three southern Tamriel races: Forest Elves of Valenwood, Khajit of Elsweyr and leaders of the alliance High Elves of the Summerset isles.
